Calamus ESSENTIAL OIL by Retromass (Therapeutic Grade)
The plant Calamus goes by many other names, just in case you run into names such as sweet cane, sweet root, sweet rush, sweet sedge, myrtle grass, myrtle sedge, cinnamon sedge. The name Calamus was named after a Greek word for reed. This essential oil is steam distilled from the rhizomes of the plant, therefore, you can also call it Calamus Root Essential Oil.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
Calamus often used as an herb for traditional usage. Historically, Calamus is used for its aphrodisiac usage. India and China started using its roots to enhance further for the same purposes. Calamus was mentioned in the Exodus within the bible which was called the "Sweet Cane". This goes back as old as 4,000 years which the healing properties of this plant had been exacted into oil.

DIRECTION
You can add small amounts of diffused Calamus essential oil to your bathwater. It gives you a refreshing feeling afterward. You can also sprinkle droplets of Calamus Root essential oil on a cloth and inhale. It keeps you alert and calms down your nerves. Use small amount of Calamus Root Oil patch test to see if you're sensitive to this oil. Do not direct use this oil onto your skin or face. Always use carrier oil of your choice to dilute this oil.
CAUTION
Do not use Calamus Root essential oil if you are under prescriptions from your doctor. Do not use this essential oil if you're a breastfeeding mother. You are not advised to use Calamus Root essential oil if you are pregnant. Do not use an overdose of this oil. Don't use this oil on infants. Avoid the ingestion of this essential oil. If you use this essential oil and you experience skin irritations, please avoid using it. Do not allow Calamus Root essential oil to contact with your eyes and inner ears.
